About the role
As a leading member of the senior management team, you will have direct supervision of Finance Business Partner(s) and present detailed analysis and overviews to the Head of Reporting and CFO. You will also collaborate with the financial accounting team to maintain data integrity and compliance and lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Key Duties:
- Develop, collate and review key performance indicators and provide guidance to business managers and executives on market trends.
- Provide support to the executive by identifying and analysing business opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Perform detailed scenario analysis to guide decision making on future strategies to pursue with cost/benefit modelling of projects and initiatives.
- Improve and develop business analysis capability using Data sets and Power Bi reports handling large amounts of data from multiple systems to inform and drive decisions.
- Provide technical training and knowledge sharing with team to improve capability and team culture.
- Lead and conduct investigations and recommendations to the business and financial accounting on processes.
- Completion of the monthly management reports, including Board, Executive and Operational management team reporting.
- Work closely with the financial accounting team to improve data integrity and ensure appropriate processes are in place to support this.
- Extensive use of Planning Analytics platform to capture future planning and report to the Head of Reporting and Analysis and CFO.
About you
You’re a commercially savvy Finance Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field with CA or CPA qualification
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining Power Bi dashboards and handling large amounts of database extracted from data warehouse from multiple systems
- Previous experience in business partnering or advisory roles within a high performing team and in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in reporting and statistical within tight timeframes, including Board submissions.
- Influencing skills as well as excellent communication skills are a must
- Experience in an organisation with a dispersed geographic service base would be an advantage
- Experience in Aged Care provision especially in the Retirement Living sector and regulatory framework would be highly regarded
