About the role

Bakers Delight Castletown is seeking a part-time Bakery All-rounder/Cleaner to join our team in Townsville, QLD 4812. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the hospitality and food industry to contribute to the smooth operations of our busy bakery.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with a variety of bakery tasks, including food preparation, cleaning the bakery, packaging, and customer service

Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in the bakery, ensuring all equipment and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned

Restocking and replenishing supplies as needed

Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive in-store experience

Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a bakery or food service environment

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team

A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities

A genuine passion for the hospitality and food industry
