Byrne Trailers QLD is currently looking to appoint an honest, competent, hardworking, and above all RELIABLE all-rounder, semi-skilled metal-processing team member, or similarly skilled individual with experience in operation of, or have worked in workshops, using metal processing equipment. Previous experience in livestock trailer manufacturing and assembly will be highly regarded but is not essential.

This position will see you supporting our Section Leaders & Workshop Foreman in all areas of steel processing, materials handling, and housekeeping.

a common sense, practical approach to task completion, in accordance with WH&S requirements

a keen eye for detail with measurements and using a tape measure

ability to lift, cut, measure, and handle components with due care

exceptional time management skills - the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines

a methodical work ethic - highly regarded

prior experience operating Bandsaw, Cold Saw, Guillotine, Punch & Shears, and CNC Brake Press – highly regarded

forklift licence – essential!
