About the opportunity

Due to continued growth, our client has created a new Field Service Engineer position based in Townsville. This role will see you travelling across North Queensland to install, maintain, and repair medical devices within pharmacies and hospitals. You’ll play a key role in supporting healthcare customers through hands-on service, remote troubleshooting, and technical guidance.

Duties

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on medical devices
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on-site and remotely
• Support new installations across hospital and pharmacy settings
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing technical support to users
• Maintain service documentation and safety compliance standards
• Represent the business with professionalism and customer focus

Skills and Experience

• Experience in field service within the healthcare industry is highly advantageous
• Biomedical, Electrical or Mechanical engineering background is essential
• Strong troubleshooting and technical repair ability
• Full, clean driver’s licence
• Excellent communication and customer service
• QLD restricted electrical licence
