Our client is a supplier of world leading Mobile C-Arm systems, used for a variety of diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive surgeries. They are a specialised service provider that has been providing fast, efficient, cost-effective service and repairs to Mobile C-Arm systems for more than forty years. Currently they have an opening in Brisbane for an experienced field service engineer in the medical device industry, ideally with experience in Medical X-ray Imaging

We require an enthusiastic, independent worker with strong communication skills, able to provide technical service and advice to client queries.

Essential criteria:

Qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Field service experience within the medical device industry

Experience interfacing software to electronic hardware.

Outstanding electronic hardware and software fault finding ability.

Demonstrated attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability for good written and verbal communication.

Be highly motivated and well presented.

Be a positive and resourceful team player.

Demonstrate good customer relations and communication skills.

Relevant EPA licence/s (preferable).

Current QLD Drivers Licence.

Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents only will be considered.

The role:

Liaise with hospital staff: Theatre Managers, Surgeons, Radiologists & Hospital Engineers.

Service/repair mobile C-Arm equipment.

Prepare reports.

Be prepared to travel on occasions throughout Australia.

Travel overseas for training as required.

Previous experience in the Medical X-Ray Imaging field is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

A generous salary package with a choice of car allowance or company vehicle is offered to the successful applicant.
