We are seeking an AHPRA Registered/Clinical Psychologist who:
Has extensive experience in providing therapeutic intervention and applying clinical skills to improve outcomes for clients across the lifespan;
Is equipped with a range of evidence-based therapies and techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and is familiar with therapeutic models within health psychology;
Demonstrates competency in administering and scoring a range of psychological assessments for intervention and diagnostic purposes, which include cognitive and academic achievement assessments, adaptive functioning assessments, neurodevelopmental assessments, and general psychological measure;
Brings experience in working with client presentations typically seen in the context of the NDIS, WorkCover, and Medicare-funded services;
Is actively engaged in seeking CPD opportunities to upskill and to ensure high-quality service suited to the client population;
Preferably has experience working within a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) or demonstrates a strong interest in a collaborative, patient-centred environment;
Demonstrates the AHPRA requirements, including policies and procedures required to provide psychological services;
Has sufficient knowledge and skills in leadership and organisation.
Must have/be:
Minimum 5-year degree in Psychology.
Registered/Endorsed psychologist with AHPRA. Provisional psychologists are also encouraged to apply.
Member of APS (or eligible for membership).
Holds or is eligible for a Medicare Provider Number or SIRA Number.
Australian Citizen.
Holds or willing to obtain NDIS Workers Check (NDISWC).
Working with Children’s Check (WWCC).
Police clearance.
Holds a current NSW driver’s licence, has access to a registered vehicle, and is willing to work across our multiple clinics as required.
