About Us

Uplift Exercise Physiology are a boutique provider of quality focused Exercise Physiology services. We believe that exercise improves lives and our mission is: ‘To inspire health and quality of life, through exercise and education’.

We have been steadily growing over the past five years due to our significant emphasis on quality care and stakeholder communication.

We predominantly assist people who have been injured at work, people with disabilities, and seniors, via prescription of patient/participant centered, evidence-based, rehabilitative exercise and education interventions - we see a wide variety of people with conditions including but not limited to: musculoskeletal, mental health, chronic pain and disability.

We like to think of ourselves as ‘free range’ Exercise Physiologists who if not working from home, are out on the road helping people in community based settings (gyms, pools, homes, workplaces, residential aged care facilities), or at our new clinic in Mayfield East. You will not find a more flexible job.

This is not an admin role where your prescriptive skills are unutilised, this is a role where you will have complete ownership and responsibility for developing and delivering exercise interventions to people on a daily basis.

We have flexibility around who we can accommodate for this position - we want to hear from you no matter if you are a new graduate or a senior clinician. We want to hear from you if you are interested in a clinic-based role OR a mobile role.

We are huge proponents of continuing professional development and want to ensure that team members are fully supported to become the best possible EP (and best version of themselves outside of work). You will be very well supported by a hands on company Director, experienced Operations Manager, well-established Team Leader and additionally, have access to a large team of EP's to collaborate with. You will also get access to regular internal professional development sessions.

On top of providing care for our patients and outcomes for our referrers, we are truly passionate about advancing the profession of Exercise Physiology and creating meaningful and lasting careers specifically for Exercise Physiologists.

About You

Tertiary qualified, ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist passionate about providing quality patient care and advancing the profession.

Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships with patients and referrers.

Experience working within Workers Compensation, NDIS and Aged Care schemes (desirable).

Excellent time management, communication (verbal and report/email writing) and ability to work independently.

Current documents/certifications: full drivers license, CPR/first aid, ability to pass working with children, NDIS worker screening, and police checks.

Growth mindset/interest in learning and becoming the best Exercise Physiologist that you can be.

We are more focused on personality than years of experience (new graduates through to senior practitioners encouraged to apply).

What's On Offer

Full-time, salaried Exercise Physiologist role with 17.5% annual leave loading and superannuation. Salary is above award and based on experience.

$1500 financial support to complete Professional Development each year - we want you to achieve your potential.

We will pay for your professional indemnity/public liability insurance.

We will pay for your First Aid/CPR (to be completed in your own time).

Full-time access to a company car that can be used for personal purposes (employee contribution applicable for proportion used personally, following which ALL expenses paid for). Note: this relates to mobile, not in-clinic role.

Provision of work mobile phone and laptop.

Ultimate flexibility to run your own schedule and partially work from home (telehealth consultations and communications/report writing).

Monthly team professional development in-services and regular external guests.

Quarterly team social events.

Ability to enter a young company with exciting future growth plans.

Role based in Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast, NSW.
