About the role

Civwil Earthworks is looking for a civil pipelayer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of underground stormwater and utility services on subdivisions and commercial projects throughout greater Brisbane area.

What you'll be doing

Installation of stormwater mains pipework including pits and manhole construction

Utility connection works including new water main and meter installations

Utility connection works including new sewer mains, manholes and property connections

Working with variety of pipework including RCP, PVC, MDPE

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Pipelayer or similar civil construction role

Familiar with different pipe materials and their installation procedures

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Competent in the use of hand and power tools required for pipe installation

Current construction industry tickets or licenses - Excavator experience an advantage

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Strong work ethic and positive attitude
