Protech are hiring Civil Pipelayers for ongoing major projects in Brisbane. There are multiple openings with immediate starts available and projects in both North and South Brisbane.

You will be joining an experienced Drainage crew with a Tier 1 Civil Contractor focusing on road construction and subdivision projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Immediate start available
• Full time hours (50+ per week) with opportunity for upskilling and casual to perm conversion
• Ongoing major projects across Brisbane
• $45 - $52 per hour depending on experience
• Penalties and allowances apply
• Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing sewer, storm water, and water main pipe installation
• Set up lasers/dumpy and read plans
• Prepare and excavate trenches, ensuring proper alignment and grading for efficient drainage and pipe laying
• Collaborate with the pipelaying team and Supervisors on site to complete daily priorities
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

TICKETS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 3+ years experience in Civil Pipelaying
• Trade qualification preferred but not required
• Experience in sewer, storm water, water mains, and road construction
• Ability to read plans, calculate levels, and set up laser/dumpy
• Confined space, front end loader, and other tickets highly regarded
• Drivers licence and reliable transport
