About Rapid Geo Pty Ltd (Rapid Geo)

Rapid Geo Pty Ltd (Rapid Geo) is a fast growing engineering consultancy, comprised of three (3) technical departments: Geotechnical Engineering Department, Environmental Engineering Department and Construction Materials Testing Services Department.

Our Rapid Geo Construction Material Testing Laboratory (RG-CMTL) is a NATA accredited facility, proudly NSW owned and located in Smeaton Grange/NSW. Our RG-CMTL is experiencing fast growth, with different opportunities within the Laboratory structure and the Company as a whole.

About the role: Project Manager (Senior CMT Technician / Entry Level Laboratory Manager)

At the moment we have several opportunities within our team, including a position for a motivated, self-driven, computer literate and experienced Project Manager. The right person will have opportunities to get involved in all levels of the process within our RG-CMTL, from Project Management to assistance with NATA next round of accreditations and audits.

Must Have Skills Set

• A minimum of at least <2 years relevant experience in the field within NSW market.

• A minimum of at least <2 years relevant experience in the laboratory within NSW market.

• Ensure all compaction reports are completed in accordance with industry standards

• Familiar with relevant Australian Standards - AS (e.g., at least Compaction Testing and CBR standards).

• Ensure fieldwork and laboratory tasks are performed in accordance with industry standards.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, which includes good customer services.

• Strong work ethic.

• An ability to work cohesively within a team driven environment.

• A current Australian driver's license and able to drive a manual vehicle (provided by the company).

• White General Induction Card.

• Be computer literate (e.g., as a minimum, able to operate on Word, Excel, and Internet Browse).

Advantageous Skills Set

• Certificate or Diploma in Laboratory Techniques.

• Experience with NATA accreditation process.

• Experience with internal audits and processes.

• Experience with internal calibrations.

• Experience performing project management of your own projects and delivering independently

• Confined Space Certificate.

• Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card.
