Applications are invited from caring and experienced professionals for the position of Full-Time Teacher Aide (Primary), based at Pinnacle Academic College’s Kallangur campus. This role involves providing classroom support across both Distance Education and on-campus learning programs.

About the Role

This full-time position involves working closely with teaching staff to support student learning and wellbeing in both online and on-campus settings.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the delivery of classroom and potentially online learning activities under teacher guidance

Assisting students with tasks, transitions, and the use of learning technologies

Promoting student engagement and positive behaviour

Providing individualised support for students with diverse learning needs

Collaborating with staff to prepare learning resources and materials

Participating in relevant school events, training, and professional learning

Maintaining accurate records of student progress and support provided

Demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and a proactive approach to student wellbeing

This is a full-time contract position until 31 December 2025, with the potential for ongoing opportunities based on school needs and performance.

Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

A Certificate III (or higher) in Education Support or equivalent qualification/experience

Prior experience supporting primary-aged students in educational settings

An understanding of inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Confidence in using digital tools and learning platforms

A commitment to upholding school values and working collaboratively with staff

Blue Card for working with children (or eligibility to obtain one)
