About the role

Coolum State High School is seeking Casual Relief Teacher Aides to join our team in Coolum Beach, QLD 4573. This is a casual position, providing support to students with special needs and assisting teachers in the classroom as required.

What you'll be doing

Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with special needs, ensuring they can fully participate in classroom activities

Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, resource development and the delivery of educational programs

Monitoring and reporting on student progress, and collaborating with teaching staff to develop and implement individual learning plans

Attending to the personal care needs of students as required

Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

A genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers and parents

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
