We are looking for a committed EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER to join our Happy Tots on Keats family, where our amazing and passionate team members embed innovative curriculums and create a beautiful team culture to support our children and families. We are looking for a team player who's keen to create an inspiring, challenging, interesting, creative, collaborative place where the environment is the genuine ‘3rd teacher’ and enquiry based learning is occurring. We are so lucky at Happy Tots on Keats to have such diversity within out centre, whereby our educators, families and children's cultures, traditions and beliefs are weaved and threaded through our day to day curriculum and philosophy.
The role of the EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER is to lead our Kindergarten aged children and work closely with our Educational Leader to implement best practice for Kindergarten age children.
As a highly valued Early Childhood Teacher, you'll support and guide children's learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners. You will lead the team, mentoring and guiding your teaching partners in early childhood pedagogy and best practice, to ensure our Kindergarten children are school ready.
Whether you're an experienced early childhood professional or newly graduated, if you're energetic, fun and committed to guiding children's early learning and development, we'll set you up for success. We are happy to negotiate part time or full time employment.
You will bring to the team:
An Early Childhood Teaching qualification or hold a Diploma and actively working towards an Early Childhood Teacher qualification as per ACECQA requirements.
Current Blue Card and Police Check
Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) and National Quality Standards (NQS) and Regulations/Legislation
Understanding of Kangaroo Time and Storypark (training will be provided)
