🌿 Early Childhood Teacher (Part-Time) – Casual Contract until December 2025 | Potential for Ongoing
Pomona & District Community Kindergarten

Are you a passionate Early Childhood Teacher seeking a meaningful role in a community-focused, nature-connected setting? A rare opportunity has become available to join the dedicated team at Pomona & District Community Kindergarten, located at the foot of Mt Cooroora and surrounded by beautiful bushland.

This is a part-time position (37.5 hours per fortnight) commencing Term 2, 2025, with paid non-contact time. The successful applicant will lead our approved kindergarten program each Monday, Tuesday, and alternate Wednesday.

What You'll Do

Lead the delivery of a high-quality, child-centred educational program

Act as the Responsible Person in Charge during rostered days

Work collaboratively with the Director, Office Manager, C&K support team, and parent committee

Promote a culture of reflective practice and teamwork

Build respectful, trusting relationships with children, families, and community

Support every child’s learning and wellbeing through intentional teaching and responsive planning

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

Previous experience in a kindergarten or Prep setting

Strong understanding of the QKLG, EYLF, and NQF

Proven leadership and mentoring skills

Passion for inclusive, child-led, and community-based education

Current Blue Card or Exemption Card

Current First Aid/CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification

Child Protection training compliant with section 162A
