We are currently recruiting a People Operations Officer to join a busy and collaborative People & Culture team within a well-known bank on a 6-month contract. This role provides first-line HR support and administrative services to employees across the business.
This position can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to incoming calls and emails from employees across the organisation
Provide Tier 1 HR support and advice in line with policies and procedures
Prepare onboarding documentation for new employees
Action internal employee movement and separation requests
Manage employee data, including due diligence checks
Support the use of self-service HR tools and systems
Complete general HR administration and ad hoc support for the People & Culture team
About You:
Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related discipline
Experience in a customer service or HR support role
Strong communication and time management skills
Comfortable handling high volumes of queries and administrative tasks
Experience using Workday is required
