About the role:
As part of a long established and highly regarded legal team you will work across the legal function, reporting to the General Counsel. You will work collaboratively with other lawyers in the team across a variety of work, including:

• reviewing, negotiating and drafting contacts including licences, deeds and other commercial agreements, funding arrangements, privacy, IP, leasing and other property agreements;
• advising on high value projects often involving third parties;
• various business as usual legal work including insurance and employment law;
• proactively identifying risk and compliance requirements and work on process improvement within the business;
• liaising and engaging with government bodies and agencies across various requirements; and
• managing and briefing external counsel in specialist legal areas where required.

Skills/Experience:
To be considered for this role you will have:

• 4-8 years' PAE from a commercial, corporate or IP practice with strong contracts experience and an unrestricted practicing certificate;
• demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts;
• excellent attention to detail and organisation skills; and
• a commercial approach allowing you to manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
