This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment (Part Time may be considered) at 75 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

About you
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic applicants for the role of Principal Policy Officer.
You will have demonstrated team leadership and project management as well as good experience in strategic policy management, development and implementation.
About the role
The Principal Policy Officer is responsible for the development of high-level policies. The role provides advice and undertakes complex research and analysis in relation to the development of policies that support the overall direction of the Commission and the implementation of the Western Australian Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug Services Plan 2015-2025 and other related Government policies.
In undertaking the role of this position, the occupant will need to recognise that there is a commitment to focussing on the needs of the individual, their families, carers or advocates working in partnership for better alcohol and other drug outcomes and improved mental health.
