About the role:
We are currently seeking a Financial Resilience Worker to join our team in Biloela. Our Financial Resilience Worker will provide financial support and assistance to adults experiencing personal, family, relationship and/or financial issues.
What will a typical day look like?
- Provide support, information and referrals to assist individuals with the management of their financial resources including household budgets.
- Provide face to face support and problem solving to assist people to take control of their finances and empower clients to self-advocate.
- Provide community education activities on financial literacy.
- Provide responses to clients who require urgent assistance and have complex needs.
- Utilise brokerage funds to provide financial and material assistance to clients experiencing immediate financial crisis.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Certificate IV qualifications in Community Services, Finance or Business.
- 2 years relevant experience

- A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.
Other Requirements:
- Full COVID-19 Vaccination
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
- Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
