About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced OHSC (Outside Hours School Care) Coordinator to join our team at Nabiac Kids Shack. This part-time role will be responsible for leading and managing our OHSC program, ensuring a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for the children in our care.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement a high-quality educational program that meets the needs and interests of the children in OSCH

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the OHSC program, including supervising staff, managing rosters and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

Foster positive relationships with children, families and the broader school community

Manage administrative tasks such as enrolments and bookings

Liaise with the Preschool Director and other stakeholders to ensure the OSHC program is aligned with the Association's vision and values

Continuously improve the OHSC program by identifying areas for development and implementing innovative practices

What we're looking for

Act as the Responsible Person for the service.

Ensure a safe and inclusive OSHC environment for children and staff, fostering a professional team culture.

Maintain precise attendance and booking schedules to uphold child safety and supervision.

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar OSHC or childcare coordinator role

Relevant childcare qualifications, such as a Diploma in Children's Services

Strong leadership and communication skills

Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

A deep understanding of the National Quality Framework and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education

Creativity and a passion for engaging children in stimulating and enriching activities

A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
