As we grow and evolve, we are on the lookout for a committed Assistant Coordinator to bring energy, expertise, and leadership to our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team in Mudgee.

About the Role:

You will work alongside the Coordinator to design, deliver and evaluate engaging programs, support children’s wellbeing, and help lead a passionate team. In the Coordinator’s absence, you will step up and take the reins — with full support and confidence from us.

About You:

You are a natural leader who is ready to step up and grow. You bring warmth, initiative, and clarity — and you love to empower your team to be their best. You are organised, knowledgeable, and ready to shape the future of OSHC service.

You Will Need:

1. Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Care/Education or similar

2. At least 3 years’ experience in Early Childhood or OSHC settings

3. Strong leadership and mentoring experience

4. In-depth knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time, Our Place, and Education and Care Services National Regulations

5. Understanding of WHS legislation and the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act

6. Digital literacy - competently able to use online platforms and knowledge of Child Care Management Systems (e.g. Hubworks)

7. Demonstrable skills in effective time management, prioritisation and problem solving
