ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Internal Auditor who is looking to take their career global. Working for a multinational organisation, you'll join a high-performing internal audit team focused on improving processes, strengthening compliance, and enhancing operational performance.

This role has a significant travel component, with up to two weeks of most months of the year spent visiting sites in New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across finance, operations, and senior leadership, performing end-to-end audits and helping to embed a strong governance culture in a complex, fast-moving manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Conduct financial and operational audits across multiple Asia-Pacific business units
• Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements in alignment with global frameworks (e.g. SOX, COSO)
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports with valuable insights for senior management
• Collaborate with local finance and operations teams to assess risk, compliance, and efficiency
• Support the regional audit planning process and contribute to enterprise risk management
• Liaise with global audit counterparts to align audit strategies and share best practices

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years' experience in internal or external audit, ideally within manufacturing, industrial or FMCG environments
• CPA, CA or CIA qualified
• Solid understanding of IFRS and risk management frameworks
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence across cultures and levels
• Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally (up to 40-50%)
