THE ROLE

Our Risk, Assurance and Consulting team is seeking a Senior Internal Audit/Risk Consultant who is driven and committed to professional growth. With the confidence and autonomy to interact with a variety of clients, you’ll be a trusted adviser who will have the opportunity to work with Australian businesses, not-for-profit and government organisations by creating value and improving the way they work.

Excellent inter-personal and communication skills will provide you with the ability to build and sustain strong relationships both internally and externally. Possessing a strong client service focus is imperative as is the ability to be completely accountable for your tasks and work productively as part of a team.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor of Accounting / Business / Commerce / Management
• A minimum of 3-4 years of Internal Audit/Risk experience.
• The ability to conduct operational reviews, financial systems reviews, compliance reviews and prepare internal audit reports.
• Professional services/industry experience and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills to confidently work with our clients and deliver a high standard of service
• A qualification in CA/CPA/CIA or are working toward this achievement.
• Strong attention to detail and committed to meeting deadlines.
• The ability to work well as part of a small team and prepared to contribute wherever required.
• Experienced in performing reviews independently with oversight from management.
• The skills to write reports and clearly articulate observations/findings into detailed reports.
• An enquiring mind, the ability to problem solve and think outside the box.
• A current driver’s license and a motor vehicle (not mandatory)
• The ability to travel to regional Victoria on occasion to complete short engagements and work on client sites.
