Job Title: Director of Operations/CEO

About Us:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations/CEO to lead our institution into its next phase of growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a clear vision and strategic plan for our college.
- Set long-term goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with the institution’s mission and values.
- Lead the executive team in driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the institution, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Ensure compliance with CRICOS and ASQA standards, maintaining the highest levels of regulatory adherence.
- Implement robust quality assurance mechanisms to monitor and enhance institutional performance.
- Develop and expand the range of educational offerings to meet industry demands and student needs.
- Enhance the overall student experience by promoting high standards of teaching, learning, and student support services.
- Lead initiatives to improve student retention, progression, and satisfaction rates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders.
- Represent the RTO at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
- Foster partnerships that enhance the institution’s profile and provide opportunities for students and staff.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the executive team and staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Implement professional development programs to enhance staff skills and capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
- Identify and manage risks associated with the institution’s operations and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure robust governance frameworks and practices are in place.
- Report to the Board of Directors on institutional performance, strategic progress, and key issues.

Key Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in a similar senior leadership role within the education sector, preferably within an RTO or higher education institution.
- Proven track record of successful operational and strategic management.
- Strong understanding of CRICOS and ASQA compliance requirements.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to drive change and inspire a culture of innovation and excellence.
