The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Quality and Compliance Leader to join our senior team and lead the organisation’s compliance, quality, and safeguarding functions.
This leadership role will report directly to the CEO, offering the chance to influence at both strategic and operational levels.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of GCLA’s quality and compliance frameworks across Aged Care and NDIS programs.
Ensure ongoing compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and legislative and regulatory requirements.
Prepare for and lead external audits, site visits, and accreditation reviews.
Manage incident reporting, complaints, feedback, restrictive practice reporting, and safeguarding matters.
Support continuous improvement through internal audits, risk reviews, and practice development.
Collaborate with Program Leaders to ensure policies, procedures, and customer care practices reflect compliance and best practice.
Contribute to Board reporting and organisational risk management.
What You’ll Bring
Demonstrated experience in a compliance, quality, or safeguarding leadership role within Aged Care and NDIS environments.
Sound knowledge of:
Aged Care Quality Standards and ACQSC expectations.
NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Commission reporting requirements.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and risk awareness.
Capacity to work both strategically and hands-on across services.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, social care, compliance, risk, or quality.
Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must have or be willing to obtain the following prior to commencement:
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
NDIS Orientation Module & Supporting Additional Needs Module
National Police Check (within 12 months)
First Aid & CPR Certification
Current driver’s licence
