About the role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Poultry Farm Hand to join our team at South Toolburra Farms' in Warwick, Queensland. As a casual role, this position will involve hands-on work in the day-to-day operations of our poultry farm. If you have a passion for agriculture and animal care, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our family-owned farm.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the feeding, watering and general care of our poultry flock

Monitoring the health and well-being of the birds, and reporting any issues to the Farm Manager

Maintaining the cleanliness and biosecurity of the poultry sheds and equipment

Supporting the team with other general farm duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience working on a poultry farm or in a similar agricultural role desired.

Suit a Warwick local, as no accomodation availble on farm, untill after a qualifing period.

We are looking for long term employees, so no visitors or Visas.

Strong animal husbandry skills and a demonstrable passion for animal welfare

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures

Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks

A team-oriented approach and the willingness to contribute to the overall success of the farm

Must have own vehicle and drivers licence, as there is no public transport.
