About the Role As the Store Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store’s back office. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for inventory control, administrative support, and coordination of after-sales services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys supporting high-performing teams, and has a strong understanding of retail operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Oversee all inventory activities including receiving, stock transfers, and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and ensure alignment with invoicing.
- Manage e-commerce order fulfilment, including picking, packing, and coordinating drop shipments.
- Coordinate stocktakes (bi-annual, daily cycle counts) and manage stock rebalancing across categories.
- Handle PR loan requests and returns, and prepare buyback stock for dispatch.
After-Sales Service
- Coordinate repair processes, including liaising with service centres and tracking repair statuses.
- Manage tagging, repricing, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with the sales team regarding service updates.
Administrative Support
- Perform general back-office duties such as rostering, timesheet preparation, banking, and reporting.
- Liaise with IT and maintenance suppliers to resolve technical and facility issues.
- Support the sales team throughout the customer journey, from welcome to packaging.
- Assist in the planning and execution of in-store events.
Workplace Health & Safety
- Adhere to WHS policies and procedures.
- Identify and report hazards, incidents, and near misses.
- Actively contribute to a safe and compliant working environment.
About You You are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a background in retail administration or operations. You bring a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to supporting a team in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a back-of-house administrative role within a luxury retail environment.
- Experience working with high-value products such as timepieces or fine jewellery is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to support sales teams.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in retail systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
