MACHINE OPERATOR

Il Nonno Foods is proudly a family owned pasta manufacturing company in Melbourne. We produce pasta products with traditional Italian techniques but 100% Australian made. Currently, we are stocked in various states Australia wide and provide premium pasta to the retail and foodservice sectors.

Our business is expanding to manufacture innovative products, meet new rising global demands within our industry and most importantly deliver traditional quality pasta products that you can trust.

About the role: Machine operators play a crucial role in our business and their contribution is highly valuable. We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Machine Operator in the areas of pasta production (automatic forming lines, packaging, extruding etc.) The candidate will also ideally be an all rounder and assist in all areas of production.

What we are looking for:

Experience in operating food machinery (pasta machinery preferrable), training will be provided

High attention to detail throughout the whole process of creating our products, as quality is never compromised

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP and personal hygiene (completion of required documentation)

Ability to effectively follow procedures and Instructions

Able to work independently and able to work in a team

Troubleshooting skills

Desire to learn about pasta production

To be in charge of running machinery effectively, efficiently and safely

Cleaning of machinery

Full time over 4 days 7am - 5:00pm Monday - Thursday

You must have the right to live and work in Melbourne to apply for this job

Physically be able to lift 20+ kg

Minimum of 2 years food industry experience
