• Temp – Perm 38-hour week – no over time required

• $35 - $45 per hour Wood Machinist negotiable

Wood Machinist or Machine Operator who has a forklift licence with a timber manufacturing background based in Dandenong South.

About us:

This long-standing Dandenong South timber machining company specialises manufacturing a wide range of high-quality components. Their expertise spans products for windows, doors, stairs, fencing, decking, and many other timber applications.

The successful candidate will join a small team of one person working with the manager directly which may lead to a permanent position after a successful 6 months on our payroll.

You’ll be working Monday to Friday 6.30am – 2.30pm and no over time will be required.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Forklift operation to load and unload lengths of timber
• Set up and operate 2 machines that timber is fed into
• Autonomous machine operation and Bandsaw usage once trained
• Inspection and quality control of timber materials and components.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Forklift license with minimum 2 years’ experience
• Physically fit capable of lifting 5-10kg long lengths loads
• Standing for long periods of time
• Good verbal and written English skills
