About the role

As a Machine Operator at Plyco Pty Ltd, you will be part of a team working with woodworking machinery to supply our customers with cut to size timber panels This full-time role is based in Fairfield, VIC 3078 and is a crucial part of ensuring the smooth delivery of Plyco's manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

Cutting and edging customer orders on a variety of different machines

Meeting cutting schedules to meet production targets

Ensuring all cutting equipment is properly maintained and operated safely

Identifying opportunities to improve cutting processes and productivity

Monitoring quality control and addressing any issues that arise

Collaborating with other departments to coordinate cutting activities

What we're looking for

Experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment

Strong technical knowledge of woodworking equipment and processes

Ability to work independently when required

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
