About the role:

Shift Times - 5 days a week / (8 hour days)

Afternoon shift = Start 2pm / Finish 10pm

Night shift = Start 10pm / Finish 6am

Schedule will change in July: 6pm-6am, 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on

Temp-to-perm position!

Key Responsibilities:

Operate various production lines, including extrusion, shredding/washing, and bagging lines

Safely operate forklifts to load and transport finished products

Manually feed recycled plastic feedstock into shredding/washing machines using forklifts and hand tools

Monitor and control machine line operations (extrusion and shredding) with provided training

Operate bagging machines, fill and label bags, and prepare products for storage using forklifts

Support multiple departments as needed to ensure smooth operations

Maintain a clean and safe work area, performing general cleaning and basic maintenance

Assist with fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and minor machinery repairs (training provided)

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude

Experience in machine operation

Valid forklift license

Commitment to occupational health and safety (OH&S) with confidence to raise concerns

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Physical fitness for manual tasks, including lifting up to 20kg

Reliable transportation (own car and driver’s license)
