Brindabella is a growing AFSL business providing licensing, trustee and compliance support to managed investment schemes. We offer Trustee, Fund Administration, Custody, and Investor Registry Services—all backed by a strong compliance-first ethos. With a pipeline of Corporate Authorised Representatives joining our licence, we are expanding our team to be able to serve these functions and provide scalable growth.

Brindabella is part of the Calmore Group. Calmore Group is a group of businesses that have been servicing the Australian and New Zealand private credit market with immense success for over a decade. Brindabella’s current team of 5 forms part of the Calmore Group’s team of 70, in a shared office space in Sydney CBD. The Group also has an office in Melbourne.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Trust Accountant to manage the end-to-end fund administration and investor registry functions for a range of wholesale investment schemes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to take ownership of operational finance and reporting across multiple funds. This person will also ideally look after the custodian function.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end fund accounting for managed investment schemes

NAV calculations, unit pricing, and distributions

Preparation of financial statements, BAS, and audit support

Investor registry management, including onboarding, transaction processing, reporting and statements

AML/CTF and KYC

FATCA and CRS reporting

Processing redemptions, distributions, transfers and capital calls

Liaising with fund managers, auditors, administrators and other service providers

Custody operations (training will be provided if required)

Continuous improvement of systems, processes and reporting standards

About You

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in trust accounting, fund administration, and investor registry services

Strong understanding of unit trust structures and managed investment schemes

Experience using investor registry and fund administration software

A relevant tertiary qualification

Excellent attention to detail, with a proactive, accountable mindset

Comfortable working independently in a small team and open to wearing multiple hats

Experience in the wholesale funds environment is highly desirable
