Diamond is now seeking applications for Emergency Service Officer (ESO) roles in Gladstone

About the role:

You will be working as part of a team of professional on-site site controllers and emergency responders; assessing, containing and stabilising incidents that threaten our people or our property. Our services are 24/7 and supported by an onsite volunteer rescue team at higher risk sites.

Safety is paramount at Diamond and the requirements of the role reflect this. You will be performing proactive site patrols, monitoring both the integrity of the site and its safety infrastructure, issuing permits and maintaining operational equipment.

About you:

You will be self-motivated, capable and experienced enough to perform your role independently with minimal supervision, and can function effectively as part of a team. You will take ownership of your role and your work ethic will place safety and constant improvement at the forefront of everything you do. You will understand the benefits of working in a team with a wide ranging set of skills and specializations. You will proactively seek to share your knowledge and broaden the skill base of the team at large.

Mandatory Qualifications Required (or equivalent):

Australian Drivers Licence

QLD Security Licence - MANDATORY

Work Safely at Heights

Enter and Work in Confined Spaces

Undertake Confined Space Rescue

Advanced First Aid

Advanced Ressuscitation Refresher

Desirable Qualifications:

Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response & Rescue OR

Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)

TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (advantageous).
