What you’ll be Doing:
As part of our team, you will create a safe space for individuals and provide high quality and individualised tailored treatment. You’ll be involved in a wide variety of therapeutic work, including:
Delivering evidence based psychological clinical assessment and case management services to persons with mental health conditions in accordance with the identified needs of the client,
Plan, develop and implement outcome focused treatment and support plans with a continuity of care and recovery oriented approach.
collaboratively involve medical and other allied professionals in all aspects of treatment and treatment planning
Delivering individual assessment, therapy with individuals. There is also opportunity for group work while enjoying the opportunity to extend your skills and grow in your career.
The opportunity to deliver Neurodiversity Affirming assessments and interventions for clients with eating disorders, body image concerns, complex trauma, and other mental health challenges.
Managing a client workload that allows you to provide thoughtful, high-quality care with ample time for note-taking and reporting.
Participating in ongoing professional development, with an annual CPD allowance and regular individual and peer supervision.

We are looking for experienced individuals who are passionate about helping clients heal, grow, and thrive. If you have experience working with complex cases and an interest in learning, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Specifically, we’re seeking someone who…
Has at least 3 years of experience in clinical practice, including experience in schools, hospitals, or family/community settings.
Is available for a minimum of 8 client hours per week (with the potential to increase).
Has experience and/or a strong interest in working with eating disorders, neurodivergence and trauma.
Loves being a Psychologist!
Has experience working with a range of presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodevelopmental issues, eating disorders, body image, and weight concerns.
Is interested in working with children/adolescents with ARFID is highly desirable or has an expressed interest. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
Is currently or is willing to work towards being a credentialed eating disorder clinician. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
Has an interest in working in a neurodiversity-affirming and gender-diverse environment and appreciates the importance of intersectionality in the work we do.
Brings a collaborative, empathic, and client-centered approach to their work.
Is committed to professional development, supervision, and ongoing learning.
Has experience working with children, adolescents, families, or multidisciplinary teams (desirable).
Clinical or Educational and Developmental endorsement (desirable).
The ability to work evenings and Saturdays (desirable).
Experience with EMDR, trauma, neurodivergence, LGBTIQA+, non diet approaches a bonus
Additionally, our next Senior Psychologist…
Will be a Board Approved supervisor or have an interest in advancing to be
Is interested in having a role that combines clinical supervision with individual client work and potentially running groups
Has a minimum of 8 years of experience in clinical practice with complex cases, including experience in schools, hospitals, or family/community settings.
Is available for a minimum of 12 hours per week across at least 2 days (with the potential to increase).
This role would suit an individual who has worked in multidisciplinary teams and / or has been working in a solo practice seeking to share their skills and knowledge within a supportive driven team.
Essential Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in working with complex cases.
Proficiency in at least three therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT-E, DBT, ACT, EMDR, Schema Therapy).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers.
Current Medicare provider number or eligibility to obtain one.
Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
Full registration with AHRPA as a Psychologist
Professional indemnity insurance.
