Location: Orange, Dubbo, Bathurst, Parkes (surrounding areas considered)
12-Month Temporary Opportunity (with the possibility of extension), Part-time
Salary: $76,531 - $148,932 (pro-rata) p.a. + Superannuation & Annual Leave Loading

Your role

As part of the Psychological and Specialist Services team, you will work to deliver psychological assessment, therapeutic interventions and other professional services to DCJ client groups including children, young people, families and carers. Your role will be based within the LINKS Western team, a multidisciplinary service providing holistic and culturally informed best practice interventions for young people living in Out of Home Care.

In this rewarding position, you will:

  • Work in an evidenced based trauma service being trained, supervised and supported by clinical supervisors who are experts in the field.
  • Make a real difference working with a highly vulnerable children and families who are fantastic to work with.

Provisional registration, new graduates, or students near the end of their degree are encouraged to apply!

What we're looking for

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia, with either:
  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, or
  • Provisional registration with an ability to fulfil full registration within the relevant timeframes.
  • Experience: Knowledge of therapeutic frameworks for child abuse, neglect, and trauma.
  • Driver's Licence: willingness to travel as required
