What will First Steps Early Learning Centre require from you:

Ensure high quality Early Years Learning Programs (EYLF) are delivered in line with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Framework (NQF)

Effectively manage time and contribute to a professional and positive team culture and be a positive role model for others.

Deliver high quality Educational programs.

Build and maintain strong relationships with Educators, families, children, and the local community

Attend staff meetings and team development sessions as required.

Maintain qualification levels in accordance with current government regulations.

Key selection criteria

A Diploma or Certificate 111 in Children’s Services or Early Childhood degree as approved by ACECQA or be actively working towards these levels

Experience as an Educator in an early childhood setting

Current approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications

Current working with children - Blue Card and National Police Check

Extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) National Quality Standards (NQS), Quality Improvement plan (QIP)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills

Highly motivated and a high standard of self-presentation

Ability to lead and mentor a team to high standards or work within a team environment

Passionate about working with young children and providing exceptional care and standards.
