About Accurate Asphalt & Road Repairs:

Accurate Asphalt & Road Repairs is an established Hunter-based company focused on the provision of road construction and maintenance services across NSW. We specialise in asphalt paving, in-situ stabilisation and civil construction and are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship whilst embracing a positive workplace culture.

About the Role:

We are looking for HR/HC Truck Driver's to join our operations team on a permanent basis. Ideally you will have experience in the road construction industry and/or a willingness to learn. The right candidate will be reliable, honest, and hardworking. The job is fulltime with a 3-month trial period.

The role is:

A permanent role.

Standard workdays Monday – Friday but need to be able to work flexible hours with weekend or night work and travel as necessary to meet client requirements.

Works will be across the Newcastle and Hunter region as well as occasional work across greater NSW.

Specific duties will include (but will not be limited to)

Driving heavy vehicles to and from site

Support Construction Crew on-site as required with a range of manual asphalt laying tasks as well as mobile plant operation of paver, roller and bobcat.

Essential Requirements:

HR or HC Licence (Road Ranger)

Sound communication skills

Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of a team

Self-motivated

Reliable and punctual

A hard-working attitude

A commitment to safety

Construction induction card or willing to obtain

Mobile plant and Bobcat experience would be beneficial

An interest in working outdoors, in all weather conditions.
