About Us:
Henry's is a new Brighton restaurant that is a distinctly Australian celebration of Mediterranean flavors and hospitality that has opened just doors bayside. Inspired by the generous spirit of Mediterranean dining, our menu encourages shared feasting, featuring an ever-evolving selection of handmade pasta, alongside wood fired seasonal vegetables, ethically sourced produce. It’s our nod to the trattorias and tavernas that line the Europe coastline.
The Role: As the Head of Reservations and Host, you’ll will work with a strong team in a role that plays a big part in shaping the guest journey. You’ll work closely with marketing and events, operations, venue manager, and the directors to ensure every enquiry, booking, and special occasion is handled with care—and contributes to the wider success of our venue.
This is a hands-on leadership role that balances people, process, and performance, with room to bring fresh ideas and help us continue to improve.

Drive Sales & Relationships
Help grow events and reservations through thoughtful, guest-focused strategies
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
Track performance and help ensure targets are realistic and achievable
Host the door greeting and setting guests
Refine & Improve Operations
Oversee our booking platform SevenRooms and look for ways to improve their use
Streamline workflows and reduce friction points for guests
Keep an eye out for new tools or approaches that could make us better
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience in reservations, events, or hospitality sales.
Proven leadership skills with a track record of working with high performing teams.
A strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and a passion for optimising processes.
Strong communication skills, able to inspire and motivate both clients and team members.
Confidence with software tools like SevenRooms and Light Speed or similar.
A solutions-focused attitude with a genuine care for guest experience.
