About the Role
As the Human Resources Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering day-to-day operational HR support across Ironbark. From recruitment and onboarding to maintaining employee records and supporting compliance, your work will help ensure our workforce is well-supported, engaged, and thriving.
Working closely with our Workforce Development Coordinator, and teams across the organisation, you’ll manage the full employee lifecycle, support performance and development initiatives, and contribute to a safe, inclusive and culturally responsive workplace.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Administer Employment Hero, maintaining accurate employee records
- Provide policy and procedural advice to staff and managers
- Support probation, performance review, and training processes
- Assist in performance and disciplinary procedures
- Prepare HR reports and contribute to internal compliance and governance
- Champion staff engagement and contribute to positive workplace culture
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate IV in HR or Business (or currently studying)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar HR generalist role
- High-level communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HR legislation, policies, and best practice
- Strong computer literacy, including Employment Hero and Microsoft Office
- A genuine commitment to diversity, cultural awareness, and respectful engagement
