We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team at Tasman Oil Tools in Perth, WA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and maintenance support for our clients' mission-critical drilling and intervention activities.

About Tasman Oil Tools:

Tasman specialises in the rental and servicing of drilling and intervention tools suitable for use in the onshore and offshore oil and gas, coal bed methane and geothermal drilling, workover and decommissioning operations, offering a broad range of drilling rental tools and well intervention equipment along with the reassurance of in-house maintenance and specialised services.

Position:

We are looking for a motivated and hard-working individual to join our team as a Service Technician. The successful applicant will be responsible for the Service and Maintenance of our rental fleet including Drilling Jars, Circulating Tools, Well Control and Handling Equipment.

Duties include:

Preparation, maintenance and testing of drilling tools and equipment

Operation of hydrostatic pressure test and torque / turn equipment

Use of manual hand tools and sandblasting equipment

Operation of forklift and gantry crane

Read and follow instructions in manuals, drawings, schematics and procedures

Assist with technical and operational support

General housekeeping

Upon commencement, the successful candidate will be provided training in the assembly, testing and calibration on all types of downhole tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

High Risk Work License – Forklift

Current Class C Driver's License

Experience:

Experience in Mechanical/Service Shop Environment

Experience in repair and maintenance of downhole / oil & gas equipment
