About the role

Commercial Kitchen Victoria is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of catering equipment across Melbourne and surrounding areas. This is a full-time role with majority of the work being on site, a company van will be provided with the right tools.

What you'll be doing

Provide prompt and expert service to maintain and repair a range of commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, across multiple reputable brands.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, order and install replacement parts as required

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Maintain detailed records of service and repair work completed

Support the team in other duties as required

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Commercial Catering Equipment Repair or a related trade

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Service Technician in the catering equipment industry

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly

A current driver's licence and comfortable working independently on-site

Flexible and adaptable approach to work with a focus on safety
