Our client, a leading multi-national manufacturer is seeking to appoint an experienced full-time Payroll Officer for an ongoing temporary position they have available at their Oakleigh site.

For this exciting opportunity, we are looking for a payroll professional who is highly organised, detailed orientated and able to work under pressure to meet payroll deadlines when required.

About The Role

The Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing various tasks inclusive of:

End to end payroll processing in conjunction with an outsourced payroll provider

Month-end payroll reporting

STP processing

Payroll data entry ensuring accuracy

General ledger payroll reconciliations

Supporting the Finance department with payroll related lodgment requests

Employee file management and administration

About You

We are looking for a payroll allrounder who loves nothing better than to get paid to calculate!

Your natural flair to communicate with others, strong eye for detail and ability to pick tasks up quickly will make you well suited to this position. In addition we require:

Proven background in a payroll appointment preferably within a manufacturing or similar industry

Previous experience using a commercial payroll system

Intermediate Level - MS Excel & MS Office Suite Products

Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

Highly energetic, motivated and proactive

Ability to multitask like a pro (keep calm, your team will help you get there)

Available to work Monday to Friday - flexible with start times (between 8.30am to 9.30am)
