Reporting to the Payroll Services Team Leader in the P & C team, this role is responsible for managing the end to end payroll administration, processing and reporting to ensure payrolls are delivered timely & accurately.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to hit the ground running in a fast paced ASX listed company, whilst bringing initiative and a proactive attitude.

Role: Payroll Officer

Location: Docklands (Hybrid, 3 days in the office)

Job Type: Contract - 6 Months (with a view of flexibility)

Hours: 8.30am - 5pm

Rate: $35 - 45ph + super depending on previous experience

Immediate start!

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in an end to end payroll function

Experience of processing multiple Enterprise Agreements with one employer

Understanding of Modern Awards

Systems experience to process payroll

Knowledge of general payroll practices and relevant legislation and statutory requirements

Highly developed analytical, innovative, and self-motivation skills

Proactive attitude to hit the ground running!

Responsibilities:

Coordinate end-to-end payroll processing and maintenance within Payroll Services and HCM systems

Administer end-of-pay and end-of-month processes, including reconciliations and third-party payments

Prepare and process termination pays, redundancies, and off-cycle payments as needed

Generate payroll reports for Finance and export payroll data to interface with the ERP system

Ensure data integrity and compliance within payroll systems

Provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers regarding payroll queries
