Senior Business Analyst- Financial Services

$170,000- $180,000 per annum

Our client, a leading consumer bank, is renowned for its commitment to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional customer service. With a strong emphasis on customer experience, they seek an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their dynamic team and drive impactful change.

Position Overview:
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in delivering business transformation initiatives with a significant technology focus. This role requires someone with techno-functional expertise, adept at working closely with application and DevOps teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Please note that this is a Business role and stakeholder management is key.

A solid understanding of consumer and business banking is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in large-scale technology programs, ensuring effective collaboration and seamless implementation of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Senior business analysis activities related to a large-scale technology program.
• Conduct a thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
• Develop comprehensive business requirements documents, use cases, and user stories to support project planning and execution.
• Work closely with technology teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions, including system integrations and software implementations.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of projects and identify lessons learned for future initiatives.
• Mentor and coach junior business analysts and team members to build a high-performing business analysis team.

Qualifications:

• Experience working closely with vendors and translating requirements.
• Proven track record of successfully leading business analysis initiatives and supporting project delivery.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on banking products.
• Experience working on large technology programs, including system integrations, software implementations, and technology transformations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and software.
