This role is all about making sure our client's monthly financial reports are spot-on and tell the real story behind the numbers. You'll be working closely with the FP&A Manager and other key people across the business to pull everything together. If you're confident with management accounting and know how to turn numbers into meaningful insights, you'll fit right in.

What the role entails

• Preparing end-of-month reports so accurate they’ll bring a tear to your CFO’s eye;
• Teaming up with the Manager of FP&A to decode performance measures and tell the financial story behind the numbers;
• Producing and presenting insights that help steer the ship, not just decorate the deck;
• Turning variance analysis into strategic gold;
• Creating dashboards and reports that are as beautiful as they are insightful;
• Ensuring that POs and SOWs don’t become WTFs; and
• Keeping financial data clean, compliant, and dazzling.

Key Criteria

• A solid background in management accounting or financial planning & analysis;
• The ability to translate numbers into plain English;
• Proficiency in Excel – we’re talking pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, maybe even a cheeky macro or two; and
• A sense of humour, humility, and a healthy appreciation for a well-formatted report.

• Head of FP&A (strategic, smart, and budget-savvy);
• The wider finance team who love numbers but aren’t robots; and
• The CFO (no pressure – just the person steering the financial direction of the entire organisation).
