About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Officer (TGO1) to join our dynamic core laboratory team. In this role, you will apply your technical skills and knowledge to carry out a variety of standardised procedures and activities, either independently or as part of a team. Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of high-quality pathology testing for biochemistry, immunology and serology markers that support vital healthcare outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is ready to build on their technical foundation in a meaningful and rewarding setting.

About You

You are an enthusiastic and reliable team player with a strong interest in laboratory work and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. With excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently, you take pride in your attention to detail and ability to manage competing tasks in a professional and efficient manner.

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.

Demonstrated ability to manage variable workloads, prioritise effectively, and deliver accurate results within set timeframes.

Sound knowledge of laboratory principles and WHS practices, with experience in general lab duties and team-based environments.

Proficient in using computer software and numerical skills to support data entry, reporting, and lab-based tasks.
