In the role of Senior Technical Specialist, you will provide hands on technical skills and expertise to lead the support of the Digital Licence App and Digital Identify service. You will oversee the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and management of the component solutions that collectively deliver the Digital Licence App and Digital Identity.
Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
• Proactively monitor, analyse, and report on the performance and availability of the Digital Licence solution components to ensure they meet agreed service levels.
• Collaborate with external vendors responsible for implementing security monitoring to ensure effective detection and response to vulnerabilities and potential threats, in alignment with departmental security standards and policies.
• Coordinate with business units and external vendors to identify, analyse and record, document and manage complex changes/incidents/problems in accordance with the Departmental standards and procedures.
• Work closely with the development teams to coordinate releases while ensuring that change and release management processes are timely and efficient.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across operational processes, tooling and application/platform performance.
To be considered suitable for the role you will have:
• Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines to support the efficient, reliable and secure delivery of applications across identity platforms (eg. Auth0), integration layers (eg. MuleSoft), and microservices-based cloud environments.
• Show initiative and collaborate with the product team members in developing and maintaining DevSecOps capabilities.
• Ability to work closely with development teams.
• Operational management (support, maintenance, and diagnostic analysis) of the Digital Licence solution components.
• Experience in using log aggregation and monitoring platforms.
• Proactively managing vendors' relationships with managed service providers while consulting the business.
• Experience administering collaboration and issue tracking platforms (eg. ServiceNow, Jira).
