• Perform a lead role as a business analyst in activities relating to the investigation, enhancement, development, implementation and ongoing support of applications and systems.
• Take a proactive and self-sufficient approach in preparing quality written communications and documentation such as analysis specifications, reports, presentations, briefs, correspondence and other relevant documentation.
• Build and maintain positive relationships, engaging directly with a variety of stakeholders such as senior representatives, vendors and front-line staff.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis to assist in engaging with stakeholders to effectively understand business functions and elicit, clarify and analyse business requirements.
• Extract and document accurate, concise business and product requirements and specifications in a dynamic environment while maintaining traceability. Lead and mobilise workshops. Define, perform, and document analysis tasks.
• Drive the coordination and support activities for multiple small to medium projects ensuring that agreed outputs are achieved for the projects. Liaise with other teams to provide proactive assistance and guidance to ensure solutions are developed that meet business requirements.
• Support the implementation of contemporary best practice frameworks, methodologies, tools, and processes consistently across Children and Youth Justice Systems.
• Monitor and review the risks, dependencies, resources and issues with stakeholders, managers, team leaders and members.
• Assist in the planning, preparation of materials and delivery of consultation workshops as required for business requirements and stakeholder engagement.
