Our client is an established and growing business with 4 sites across Victoria providing comprehensive sleep and respiratory management. Their team of leading respiratory and sleep physicians work closely with patients to diagnose and tailor their approach to achieve the best possible outcome. Their philosophy is to put all their patients first whilst providing a rapid and affordable service.

Role Description
They are actively seeking an experienced medical receptionist to assist with their growing needs at their St Albans and Gisborne sites. This is a casual role, and the hours are between 8am – 4:30pm across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at St Albans and every alternate Friday at Gisborne.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in day-to-day administrative operations of the clinic

Manage patient appointments for consultations and tests

Managing of claims to Medicare/DVA and all private billings/payments

Answer patient enquiries

Notify patients of changes and requirements for each appointment

Maintain consulting rooms and waiting area

Manage new patient registrations

What We Seek

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in an autonomous capacity

Strong data entry skills

Ability to work calmly in high-pressure situations

Excellent time management skills to set own priorities, plan and organise work

Previous experience with Genie software or similar medical billing software

Strong computer skills

Demonstrated experience providing excellent patient care

Proven ability to work as a team player and good interpersonal skills

Track record of being reliable
