Casual Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic receptionist to join our lovely team here at the Shore Street West Medical Centre.

Casual position offering 15-25 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Start and finish times range from 6.30am to 6pm. Must be flexible with these hours.

Previous experience with Best Practice software an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

Your role will include

• Meeting and greeting patients
• Answering telephone
• Booking appointments
• Communicating with patients, specialists, doctors and staff by verbal and electronic methods
• Billing and receipting in person or by telephone
• Banking
• General reception duties

• Strong customer/patient service skills
• Friendly and empathetic to patient face to face and over the telephone
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods whilst paying attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced medical practice
