About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate must have experience using Best Practice software and a passion for providing excellent patient care. You will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our busy practice.

Hours of Work:

Monday: 3:00 PM – Close

Tuesday: 4:00 PM – Close

Wednesday: 4:00 PM – Close

Thursday: 4:00 PM – Close

Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly and professionally

Manage appointments, recalls, and reminders using Best Practice

Answer phone calls and handle patient enquiries

Process billing and Medicare claims

Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Assist with administrative tasks to support clinical staff

Ensure the reception area is clean, welcoming, and organized

Handle urgent situations with professionalism and efficiency

Requirements:

Previous experience as a medical receptionist

Proficiency with Best Practice software is essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and time-management abilities

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of Medicare billing processes preferred

Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (as per current health guidelines)
